Montague sat confidently, enjoying the moment; watching the
hesitation on his clients faces as they read the full terms of his contract,
knowing they had no choice but to sign. But it wasn’t Montague’s fault that society
had created the haves and the have not’s and if it wasn’t him then some other unscrupulous
business man would step in. Why not him? He wasn’t breaking the law; he was offering a
service. The young couple picked up the tacky gold plated pen. Montague felt a
surge of adrenalin, the pound signs multiplied before him synchronised with the
couple’s deepening misery.
